REGISTRATION/ATTENDANCE POLICIES & RELEASE
Below are Policies and Releases that apply to all attendees of CRW events including in-person and online. Registrants for CRW events will receive the monthly email newsletter unless the registrant contacts CRW to opt out.
ACCEPTANCE: By registering for any CRW event whether online or in-person, attendees agree they have read and accepted the policies related to the CRW event which include the following information.
ONLINE EVENTS
EVENT LINK: Once registered for an online event, a link will be sent a couple of days before the event occurs. Each person must be registered in order to be admitted to the event.
VIDEO/SOUND RECORDING: Due to copyright considerations for speakers’ work product and materials, CRW will not be recording workshops/presentations.
CANCELLATION: In case of connectivity problems, or other events beyond our control, the event will be cancelled and rescheduled, if possible. Registrants will be notified by email. Some of our events are offered at no charge, but if registrants paid for the event, the fee will be applied to the rescheduled event. Those unable to attend the rescheduled event will receive a credit to be applied to a future event.
RELEASE: By registering, attendee understands that CRW does not control the artistic expression of its faculty/presenters and attendees. Attendee understands that others may choose to share their work with others during the event.
IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS & MINI-CON
RELEASE: By registering or attending any in-person event, registrant understands that photography will occur at the event for CRW’s promotion of CRW events. Such photographs may be used on CRW’s website, newsletter, and social media. If a registrant wishes to opt out of being photographed, registrant should notify CRW upon checking in on the day of the event.

REFUND POLICY: Due to the expense of planning an event, including unrecouped expenses, CRW does not issue refunds of registration fees to those who register but do not attend. In extenuating circumstances, CRW may choose to transfer registration to a future event.
CANCELLATION: In case of extreme weather, dangerous conditions, or other events beyond CRW’s control, CRW will attempt to reschedule the workshop or annual event. Registrants will receive email notifications if it is postponed or cancelled. Registration payments will be applied to the rescheduled event. The rescheduled event may not be identical to the original due to venue and speaker unavailability. Those unable to attend the rescheduled event will receive a credit applied to the following year’s annual event.
